Weekend Recap- Norwex

Good Morning,

This past weekend has been busy busy busy. Ryan and I found out his childhood friend is getting deployed in a few months. We're pretty bummed since he was in our wedding party. It wont be the same without him. We hope you stay safe and can't wait for you to return home. Thank you for serving our country.

Sunday I hosted a Norwex party. If you haven't heard of it before that's okay. Back in December, my sister in law was having a Norwex party. I went and had no clue what it was about. After the party was done I was amazed. I decided to book a party and Sunday was the day.

Norwex was started in 1994 in Norway by Bjorn Nicolaisen. Norwex is a miraculous cloth along with cleaning products without chemicals to clean homes. Now a days many cleaning products have so many chemicals in them it is unsafe for yourself and kids. Norwex can get the job done and is safe for yourself and kiddos in the homes as well too. If you are anything like me and love coming home to a clean house and want to make it much easier to do defiently check into Norwex. After hosting this party and getting so much products I honestly am so happy with it and recommend it to anyone.

Friday Favorites

YAY it's Friday. I am excited for the weekend. I have big plans this weekend that ill cover next week on the blog.

Today I am going to cover my favorites this week.

#1: First of all, back in November my grandma went to heaven. While cleaning some of her clothes and belongings I came across leggings. They were so soft and the patterns on them were so cute I decided I was going to keep them so I have a piece of her with me. I looked at the name of the leggings they were Lularoe leggings. I've heard of their leggings, never bought any or was into them. Well let me tell you, they are the comfiest, softest, cute, and best leggings I have ever owned. They have different patterns from nature, floral, animal print, bold colors, food, insects, girly, holiday, etc. They also have many different tops, dresses, cardigans, etc. If you're interested in more about them Facebook Angela Slaman.

#2. My Apple Watch. I was back and forth on getting an Apple watch. I normally don't wear watches so I wasn't sure if I was going to even wear it. But let me tell you, since getting an Apple watch I love it. I like how its convenient and easy to you. I'm not a big techy person but it was easy to set up. If I don't wear it, I feel odd without it. I love that it tracks my steps, has goals set for me each day, tells me when I need to move and breathe, I like that I can text and make phone calls off of it. I didn't get the Series 3, I got the Series 2 and to be honest I love it.

#3. Sleep number. My mother in law has herniated discs in her back and neck and she bought a sleep number a few years back. She has always said she will not buy another bed unless it's a sleep number. She loves hers so much. Well between my mattress being old and Ryan's mattress old we needed a new one. I kept asking if we can get one and he eventually gave in and we went and picked one out. We tried their basic C2 & C4. We weren't a fan. If we're spending money on a new bed I want to make sure it's the one I want. We got the P5 and I am so glad we did. I have been sleeping much better, waking up feeling refreshed after a good night's sleep. I love that I can track my sleep on my iPhone. It tells me how restful, restless I was and if I was out of bed. It gives me a Sleep Score. I started with my score around 25 and now I range between 70 and 85. I loved my bed so much I went and bought a sleep number bed pillow to go with it and it was well worth the money we spent on them. Hello no more stiff necks.

#4. Dog bath. With two Springer Spaniels that are hunting dogs while living in New York with snow, rain, and mud most of our winters the dogs paws can get pretty dirty. With having Jacuzzi tubs in the house I can't necessarily bathe the dogs in there because of the jets and dog hair. I can't bathe them outside in their pool like I usually do during the summer months when it's warmer out. I came up with an idea and my fiance built it for me. In the garage he built a stand up dog bath. I don't have to bend down and bathe them, I have it where they can be tied up with their collars on so they cant go anywhere. It makes it much much easier for me. I couldn't be happier.

Thanks Babe xo

#5. My UGG slippers. These slippers are the most comfortable slippers I have ever owned. I never doubted not liking them. I own several pairs of UGG boots so I knew I would love these slippers. I have owned them for over a year and I wear them non stop. They still look brand new, I like that they have the rubber bottoms that I can wear outside or on the patio if I wanted too. I would recommend these to anyone they are just so amazing.

Well those are my top favorites this week. Off to work & then to enjoy my busy weekend. See you Monday blogging world.

Ten things about me

Good Morning,

Since blogging is new to me I figured its best I do a blog post about me.

One: Purple is my very favorite color. Anything thing purple I love.

Two: Sunflowers make me so happy. Maybe its the bright yellow and summertime but give me all the sunflowers and I'd be happy.

Three: 18 is my favorite number. I always feel lucky with that number.

Four: I am a shopping addict. I love buying clothes, shoes, candy, hair products, basically ANYTHING. Whatever I see I want, I want to buy it.

Five: I grew up in New York and still reside in NY.

Six: I dislike the winters and want to be a snowbird. My fiance doesn't want to be one.

Seven: I have TWO Springer Spaniels named Hunter & Riley. They are brother and sister. Riley has a back injury that leaves her handicapped.

Eight: I am a book nerd. I love to read. You name a book and i'll read it.

Nine: I love the Bachelor on ABC. I am one of those addicts that watch these shows.

Ten: Traveling is my passion. I have a bucket list of places that I want to travel to someday.

Well that is a little bit about me. See you Friday Friends!!

Never forget weekend

Happy Tuesday!

I am loving the 3 day weekends. This weekend was super exciting for me and one that I will personally never forget. With my upcoming wedding in September, I have been back and forth looking for the right wedding dress. Well, this weekend was it. I found the one and I could not be any happier. It was such a huge relief finding the perfect one. I have been looking since April of 2017 and didn't have much luck, but today was it. Now on to the bridesmaid dresses.

With having the day off I found time to actually cook a meal and dessert. Usually during the work week we make something simple whether its a frozen pizza, spaghetti, chicken finger and fries something that doesn't require much time to prepare and cook. I have been following a blog that I look up to and am inspired by Mix & Match Mama. Pork & Beans over rice is for dinner. For dessert, Berry Cherry Cobbler is the win tonight.

See you Wednesday blogging world.

First Entry & About me

I have read many blogs and have been inspired by them. I have been saying the past two years that I want to start my own blog but have been putting it off. I'm not sure if its because i'm not a good technical person, I don't know what to write about, if anyone will read it, or just me being lazy. 18 is my favorite number so I figured 2018 is going to be my year. Looking into the future I know 2018 will be my year, I will have a new niece/ nephew in March (it's a surprise), a few weddings over the summer which also includes my own in September. I grew up in Buffalo, New York and still reside here with my fiance and my 2 English Springer Spaniels Hunter & Riley. I enjoy traveling every chance I get, reading, learning new things. I recently went back to church and am getting back into the routine of it. I am a recent college graduate and am employed for a local savings bank. I am excited to see what my future holds for me.
